Rejoice in the Lord always

Philippians 4:4

Philippians is one of my favorite epistles of Paul in the bible. If you are feeling down or having a feeling of trouble in your heart and mind, this book is what you need. It has only 4 chapters. It’s very optimistic, encouraging, soul up-lifter, and a joyful book that you will surely love to read in times of troubles. You can reflect on it and claim the words to our Lord, Jesus Christ!

Yesterday afternoon, my cousins and I started a Christian band. Maiah (Me) – guitar/vocals, El – lead guitar, Gabby – bass, Sid – drums, with special participation of ate Jen – vocals, and Austin (my 4yr-old inaanak hehehe) – tambourine. We only completed 2 Christian songs since my cousins are still not familiar with Christian songs yet. But the outcome was really good. Without someone to sing, I volunteered to do the vocals for being familiar with most of them though, I’m not really good in singing.

I just want to express my happiness for I can see that the love of God is coming into our family. I’m really thankful to you my God that through music you are binding us with your love! Let your music oh Lord draw our family to You. Whether you bless us or give us trials, we will rejoice in Your name and give you praise and glory for You are our God, our Father. Always fill us with your faith, hope, and love that comes through our Lord Jesus Christ. To the glory and praise of the Father.
